I graduated from George C. Wallace College in 1994, with an Associate Arts degree. I then graduated from AUM in 1999 with a degree in Elementary Education. In 2002, I graduated from Troy State University with a Master's degree in Elementary Education. I enrolled again at AUM and graduated with an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration, in 2007.  

The 2023-2024 school year is my 25th year as a teacher. It is also my 25th year at Prattville Elementary School.

I firmly believe that education is a life-long process. I also believe that each day provides us with opportunities to learn more than we learned the day before.
